At least that eases the gift;
For our joyous 15 years together
Rose Quartz for love it is.

Crystals are for healing
For health and wealth I'm told;
My lifes full of those already
If I may be so bold.

The day I married you
My life truly begun;
Everyday a winner
The Jackpot I had won.

The 20th is CHINA
and that gives us choice;
A plate or a holiday
So we can rejoice.

Everyday has been a pleasure
To love and live with you;
I want to walk The Great Wall
It'll be a splendid thing to do!

Doesn't time fly when you're having fun
Twenty years - it feels like yesterday
Would I change one minute of it?

30 years is the one for PEARL
The oyster makes it from a tear;
Our love is still growing
More and more each year.

There are times when I feel I will burst
With love overflowing all around;
My pride and joy in being with you
Doesn't appear to have any bounds.

So thirty five is CORAL
Deep sea divings not our thing;
So I'll buy you a necklace
When we've finished our swim.

The reef is very pretty
But can't compare with our years;
Fantastic and now with grandchildren too
Cuddles and champagne - Cheers!!

We've sent each other cards and a verse or two
And now the RUBY one is here;
Where's it all gone I ask and with such speed
Can we have a rewind and see the premiere.?

All that time ago in that not so distant past
40 happy years who would have thought we'd even live that long;
They said we'd never make it, just how very wrong they were
Look at us two old hippies, already too old to die young!!!
