If only we did realise each and everyday
Just how precious is this health we take for granted;
All the time just waking up is really a miracle
I don't know how to do it-do you? Our lives are quite enchanted.
All the bits working as if on their own
Or so it seems sometimes;
Brain signals millions of times a second
Growing and healing with never a whine.
So when it lets you know it's hurting
It's time to stop and listen;
And see what you can do to mend the situation
In case the doctors are just something missing?
Listen to your body and listen to your mind
So information that you give the doc!
He/she can analyse successfully
And all your troubles stop!
Get Better soon is the message here
As we miss you so at home;
We visit as often as we can
Whilst we learn about syndromes.
We will nurse you and help you get well
We know that's what we'll do;
So come on and sign the hospital off
ASAP and we'll look after you.

'Cos it will cause you pain;
But I would give anything
To watch you over again.
It happened to quick to film it
And I'm sorry that you're hurt;
But your leg stuck in that bucket
You nearly lost your skirt.
But hey the doc says you are on the mend
And home you go tonight;
Your Mom will be very pleased
That you're going to be alright!
