I have to leave you now
That is'nt what was planned;
But I can't stay now that I know
Exactly where I stand.
If I am not your number one
Then nothing else will do;
I need to get a long way away
To get as far away from you.

You coming off that boat;
When you decide to follow me
And into my arms do float.
It's not that faraway it's really not
Come and stay for a holiday and see;
Your eyes will open wide I'm sure
At the views, the beauty and at me.

Farewell, My Friends.
My friends to you I bid goodbye
To the friendship that brought me sky;
The year has been swell
As if coming from a wishing well.
But as all things do
I have to bid adieu;
How it pains me to
But there's nothing I can do.
Thank you for the memories
The laughter and the tears;
They'll linger in my heart
As if we never part.
If by chance we meet again
May it be full of blessings in the rain;
Yet for now all that I can say
Is to God for you I'll pray.

Farewell to a fond neighbour
You have been very good to me;
You turned into a friend
And now I'm leaving thee.
I didn't want to go you know
My heart was torn in two;
I didn't care about the landlord
All I cared about was you.

This goodbye will be a long one
As the doctor tells us so;
But I am finding it hard to say
I don't want you to go.
We say silly things at sad times like these
'Cos you don't want to go anywhere either;
You've agreed though that you're tired
You can't fight it anymore neither.
I will always love you and keep you in my heart
No matter what, no matter where;
I will always feel you close to me
As I can see you in there.

Farewell, as you sail the seas
You are so brave you know;
To travel the world by half
To New Zealand off you go.
Will I see you again? I know not
It's a long way for a visit;
If I get round to coming down
It will be for more than a minute.
