In this life there is just so much to be thankful for
Waking up in the mornings is on the plus side;
Air to breathe and water to drink; there are those who have not
The varieties of everything that enchants us worldwide.
In all the places around the world from very cold to very hot
All the animals and the fauna are amazing to behold;
All shapes, sizes and colors some beautiful and some rather odd
The joy of our friendships and families without whom we'd be cold.
We are amazing, walking miracles one and all
Everything is how we view it;
Is our cup half empty or is it half full
Thanking God for every minute!
We have on average three score years and ten
This amounts to approximately 25,500 days;
That doesn't sound so long now does it
Let's just say a big "Thank You" in every way.

Even when I didn't believe in myself
You're a great (teacher) (coach)

You didn't even know me when
You were told we were a match.
You went through all that pain
Not even sure on the first batch.
Your bone marrow is the miracle
That I had been praying for.
I now have the rest of my life
It was you that opened that door.

Thank you poem verse to send to hospital staff for the care they gave to a patient who had a major operation;
You might say you were just doing your job
But we think it fair
To thank you sooo very much
For the really excellent care
You gave to Mr (Tom Smith)

Just a hard working team
That goes 'above and beyond'
