Falling in love with you
Is one of the scariest things I've ever done.
But I am so glad you gave me that push
My fears have all but disappeared now that we are one.

The butterflies in my tummy
The coloring in my cheeks;
My heartbeat going twice as fast
My knees have gone all weak.
I did think I was going to be ill
Not sure what was going on;
I've never felt like this before
But then I stumbled upon.
Trying to work out what it was
I realised it was when you were there;
I find myself holding my breath
And trying hard not to stare.
You look at me and I look away
I hardly dared to move;
Then you asked me for a date
My phone number to prove.
We went out that very night
Never looked back since;
We have barely been apart
Our glasses have rosy tints

It makes me feel so very alive;
As if some magic potion courses through my veins
Into eroticism I am ready to dive.
Passion and heat make no mistake
Are a fiery combination;
But tiredness just floats away
When lit up with your narration.
My body heat goes up and up
My spine tingles and I shiver;
My heart beating twice as fast
And I go all of a quiver.
You are my lover and my passion
Make no mistake about that;
These fireworks will be short lived
